Today we speak with  ORO Labs CEO Sudhir Bhojwani on Supply Chain AI:

1. What should we the supply chain community be looking out for in regards to  supply chain resilience?
   “The biggest blind spot is digital fragility. We discuss supply risk, but we rarely consider what happens when our AI infrastructure – including models, APIs, or data pipelines – is disrupted by geopolitical events. The next wave of resilience planning won’t just be about suppliers and logistics; it will be about ensuring continuity in digital decision-making.”

2. Talk to me about the buzzword of the moment…. Agentic AI.
   “Most of the industry’s discussion about agentic AI focuses on productivity: the number of tasks that can be automated and how much faster we can move. What’s missing is the bigger picture. Agents aren’t just about efficiency. They’re also about governance at scale. When you design them well, agents encode judgment, compliance, and brand values into every transaction. That’s where the real transformation happens.”

3. Ok, Ok, what about “Interpretive AI”
   “In the next year, interpretive AI will bridge the gap between automation and understanding. It’s what makes agents explainable, helping leaders trust decisions made by systems. Agent-to-agent networks will begin quietly coordinating routine activities across systems, allowing humans to focus on strategy. This is when procurement begins to feel less like a system you use and more like a capability embedded into how business gets done.”
