Circle Logistics is expanding its investments in technology enabled shipment visibility and last-mile delivery infrastructure as shippers across industries push for tighter control, faster response times and more reliable final-mile execution.
The Fort Wayne based third-party logistics provider said it has upgraded its digital backbone to deliver deeper, real-time insight across customer supply chains. Enhancements include expanded multi-mode tracking, real-time exception management and broader system integrations aimed at helping shippers identify disruptions earlier and proactively manage service failures.
“In today’s logistics environment, visibility is no longer a differentiator — it’s foundational,” said Eric Fortmeyer, chief executive officer of Circle Logistics. “We’re investing heavily in technology that allows our customers to anticipate problems, respond faster and protect service performance in increasingly complex networks.”
At the same time, Circle is scaling its last-mile operation to address growing demand in retail, healthcare and food-grade freight. The company is strengthening final-mile carrier networks, expanding time definite delivery services and increasing support for specialized, high touch shipments where consistency and chain-of-custody are critical.
“Final-mile execution has become one of the most decisive factors in customer satisfaction and cost control,” Fortmeyer said. “By extending our last-mile footprint and embedding technology throughout the process, we’re helping shippers improve delivery success rates while reducing risk and operational friction.”
The investments come as shippers place greater emphasis on real-time data, tighter performance windows and partners capable of managing complexity from first mile through final delivery. Circle said its ongoing focus on technology, operational scale and service integrity is designed to support customers as supply chains become faster, more transparent and increasingly time sensitive.
